The organization has a talent for building just enough hope to crush you personally. It's almost impressive at this point.
The perfect season was 1972, not 1973. The Super Bowl win came in January 1973 to cap THAT season. Get your own team's history right before you lecture anyone about DNA lol.
My dad used to take me to Joe Robbie Stadium as a kid. We'd park miles away, walk in the heat, eat overpriced hot dogs, and still leave happy because the team had an identity. Hard to explain what that felt like. Right now the team feels like it doesn't know what it wants to be. That's the real problem.
okay can we talk about how we literally had one of the most explosive offenses in the league like two seasons ago and somehow still couldnt close out games. that's not a talent problem thats a coaching culture problem and no amount of drafting fixes culture
Rebuild mode implies you're building toward something. What exactly is the destination here? Nobody in that front office has articulated a coherent vision since... honestly I can't remember when. Spending big on receivers while ignoring the trenches is not a plan, it's vibes.
Honestly? The Dolphins are one legitimate pass rusher and a healthy offensive line away from being genuinely dangerous. People act like this roster is a disaster but compare it to what we had in 2019 and tell me that with a straight face. We have actual players now. Real ones.
Genuinely asking the lifelong Miami fans here: has there EVER been a stretch where you felt truly confident going into a playoff game? Not hopeful. Confident. Because from the outside it really looks like this fanbase has been conditioned to expect disappointment and I don't mean that as an insult.
Tua is the problem, full stop. The man crumbles the second the weather gets cold or the stakes get real. Trade him while he still has value and start over with someone who can actually lead a team in January.
I moved here from Ohio three years ago and adopted the Dolphins because I genuinely love this city. Went to three games at Hard Rock last season. The VIBE in that stadium is incredible. The product on the field in Q4? Terrifying. You guys weren't kidding when you said December is cursed.
To everyone calling for a full teardown — who exactly are we supposed to tank for? You really wanna blow up a roster with this much skill just to draft a quarterback who may or may not work out? Some of us remember when that strategy gave us years of nothing. Hard pass.
People forget that the Dolphins actually won the Super Bowl in 1973 AND completed the only perfect season in NFL history. The DNA of a championship franchise is IN this organization. We are not structurally broken — we just need patience and the right defensive coordinator. Change my mind.
